Klari Baby Cheese Sweet Pepper (Capsicum annuum) - Also known as the Golden Delicious Apple Pepper, this ancient heirloom variety originates from Hungary. A rare and endangered pimento type where the upright bearing fruit resemble small 2 inch cheese wheels. Fruits ripen from pale yellow, through orange, to a bright red. Plants usually have all three colours at the same time. There is a documented history of strictly ornamental use in parts of Eastern Europe where plants are grown in pots along masonry walls and entrance ways functioning as a lighted corridor. A thick walled pepper with juicy texture and medium-sweetness. Ideal in sauces and cooking or picked whole. A perfect choice for short season climates.

Transplant seedlings into cell packs or small pots at the 1–2 leaf stage. Harden off plants for 4–5 days once frost risk has passed. Transplant outdoors in full sun when day and night temperatures remain consistently above 10 °C, spacing plants 18–24″ apart in well-drained soil.
