Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 4–6 weeks before last frost or direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked. Sow seeds ½ cm (¼ in) deep. Thin seedlings to 30–45 cm (12–18 in) apart, with rows spaced 45–60 cm (18–24 in). Kale prefers full sun and rich, well-drained soil. Keep soil evenly moist throughout the growing season.
