Euretta’s Lavender Poppy (Papaver somniferum) Euretta’s Large Lavender Benelux poppy seeds were gifted to us from Melona of Alberta in 2021. They were grown by her mother Euretta in Holland during the war years and eventually made their way to Edmonton where they have been grown since. Germination rates were low in the first year, however, after three years of trials we are now delighted to offer this rare family heirloom poppy.
