Lipstick Sweet Pepper (Capsicum annuum) - An early‑maturing heirloom that performs exceptionally well in northern climates. This thick-walled, extra-sweet pepper produces vibrant red, 4″ long tapered fruits reminiscent of pimiento types. Lipstick Sweet peppers are versatile and reliable, thriving in sandy loam fields, raised beds, and containers. Their crisp, sweet flesh makes them perfect for fresh eating, roasting, or adding colour and flavour to salads and cooking.

Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before your last frost date. Sow ¼″ deep in a warm seed-starting mix and keep soil consistently moist and warm for best germination. Transplant seedlings into cell packs or small pots at the 1–2 leaf stage. Harden off plants for 4–5 days once frost risk has passed. Transplant outdoors in full sun when day and night temperatures remain consistently above 10 °C, spacing plants 18–24″ apart in well-drained soil.
