Mortgage Lifter Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) - Perhaps the best name awarded to a beefsteak tomato, the Mortgage Lifter might not resolve your financial debts but it will certainly yield you a great profit of large fruits for you to harvest. Initially developed out of the Great Depression of the 1930s by ‘Radiator Charlie’ Byles of Logan, West Virginia. During this time it was promoted as a variety that would get farmers out of debt. Indeterminate vines produce very large mildly sweet fruit that can weigh in up to 2 lbs. Classic heirloom flavour and blemish/crack-free tomatoes to enjoy in 80-85 days.
Indeterminate growth.
80-85 days to maturity.
