Nana Toots Petunia Mix (Petunia multiflora) - This is a really nice upright growing version of the Old Fashioned Vining Petunia. It comes to us from the gardens of the Late Evelyn Zelinski, aka 'Nana Toots', of Thunder Bay ON. Family members have saved many of her flower seeds from the Donald Street yard. A very fragrant blooming petunia with a mix of white, rose, lavender, and purple shades. A very sturdy plant, perfect for open planters in exposed areas.Â
100 seeds per packetÂ
Growing Information: Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds on the soil surface and press lightly, do not cover, as light is needed for germination. A humidity dome or plastic film can help retain moisture until seedlings emerge. Keep soil consistently moist and provide bright light. Seeds typically germinate in 7–14 days.
Harden off seedlings for 7–10 days before transplanting outdoors after frost. Space plants 20–25 cm apart in full sun with well-drained soil. Petunias thrive in fertile soil and bloom best with good air circulation.
