North Mountain Wildflower Mix - Through careful selection, we have put together a mix of 16 different species that have thrived in our mountain climate off the north shore of the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia. A colourful blend of annual and perennial species all hardy to Zone 3a. The blend is best sown in late fall or early spring and will require a cold period for complete germination. Planting Instructions: Requires cold stratification before seeding. (4-5 weeks of refrigeration.) Sow outdoors in spring once soil can be worked. Seeds can also be sown in late fall to satisfy cold period required for spring germination. Broadcast on surface soil and incorporate lightly with rake. Keep moist.
