Orangeville Tassel Flower Mix (Emilia coccinea) - Ken collected these Orange Tassel Flower seeds in 2019 from a beautiful stand growing in front of a Broadway business in Orangeville, Ontario. “They were hard to miss, dancing in the September wind just off on a side street of Broadway… I was fortunate there were a few finished seed heads.” A gorgeous dual coloured orange-scarlet coloured mix of blossoms backed by blue-green foliage. Stems are wispy and rather delicate, reaching 18-24” and are perfect for fresh or dried arrangements.

Planting Instructions: Direct sow into the garden after all danger of frost has passed, in a sunny location and well-draining soil. Keep soil consistently moist until seedlings are a few days beyond two-leaf stage. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Cover the seeds lightly and keep them moist until germination. Set out plants approximately 10-14 days after last spring frost or when night temperatures are consistently in the double digits.
