Solanaceae

Regular price $4.95 $4.95 Sale

Oaxacan Pink Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) - An ancient heirloom cultivated for centuries in Mexico’s Oaxaca region, this tomato carries the rich flavours of its heritage. Indeterminate plants produce medium-large, slightly ribbed, shouldered fruits with deep pink skin and a classic sweet-and-acid balance. Exceptionally disease-resistant, Oaxacan Pink yields persistent fruits well into late fall. First harvest comes in 70–77 days, and the versatile tomatoes shine both as slicers and in sauces, bringing a taste of history to every meal.

Indeterminate growth.

70-77 days from transplant.

25 seeds per packet.

Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost. Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in warm soil. Transplant seedlings into 1‑inch cells or 3–4 inch pots at the 1–2 leaf stage. Harden off plants for 4–5 days once the risk of frost has passed. Transplant outdoors when day and night temperatures consistently stay above 10 °C. Provide support such as cages or stakes to keep plants tidy and accessible at harvest.
