Immortelle Paper Flower (Double Petal) - (Xeranthemum annuum) Native to Europe, also known as annual everlasting or immortelle. Multi-stemmed 18-24” tall plants produce elegant 1-1.5-inch double papery blooms in pink, white and lavender hues. An excellent xeriscape plant as it thrives in poor soils and dry conditions. One of our top producers in the 2025 drought of Nova Scotia. A beautiful annual with a long flowering period, makes a great cut flower.

Growing Instructions: Start indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting, or direct sow after the last frost. Sow on the surface and gently press seeds into the soil mix. Cover very lightly and keep moist. Plant 6-12" apart in full sun. Paper Flowers are heat lovers. Germination takes 7-14 days.
