Parade Green Bunching Onion

Parade Green Bunching Onion (Allium fistulosum) - This is a very uniform and upright bunching onion that has been a long time favourite amongst market growers as a result of the ease in harvesting and cleaning. Parade has bright white shanks with no bulb formation. Rigid leaves are dark green and erect. We continue to grow this low maintenance variety every year on our farm. A very hardy species that will overwinter in the field here at Zone 5b.

Growing Information: Start seeds indoors in late winter, covering lighting to 1/4 inch depth at 1/2 inch apart. Transplant during late spring, spacing seedlings 6-8 inches apart within the row.
