Five Colour Silverbeet Swiss Chard (Rainbow) (Beta vulgaris subsp. cicla) 'Rainbow Swiss Chard' is an Australian heirloom that was nearly lost, but reintroduced to North America and eventually re-released. Also known as, 'Five Colour Silverbeet', a tender variety with orange, yellow, pink, white, and red stalks, which make it a showy ornamental.

Planting instructions: Sow seeds 1/2 inch deep and 1 inch apart, thinning to 2-3 inches apart after germination. Leave 12-18 inches between rows. Begin seeding when soil temperature is 7-10 degrees Celsius. Swiss Chard - continue sowing every two weeks until early summer for a continuous supply.
