Scarlet Flax (Linum rubrum) This is a lovely annual wildflower native to Algeria. A very hardy, heat and drought-tolerant species that has been cultivated in North America since the mid 1800’s. Exceptionally striking deep scarlet red flowers are produced throughout the entire summer. Plants typically reach 14-18” in height. Blooms best in full sun.
