Scotia Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Developed at the Kentville, NS Research Station in the late 1950s, just a short drive east of our farm, this early-maturing heirloom is perfect for short-season gardens. Determinate plants produce a generous yield of 2” round, red fruits with a slight green shoulder, blemish-free and disease-resistant. Reliable and flavourful, Scotia tomatoes are ideal for processing or making traditional Maritime Green Chow (green tomato relish).
