Sea Holly (Eryngium planum) A tall growing, drought tolerant perennial with rigid, spiny leaves. Flowers have a gorgeous bluish-green hue with silvery striations. Stems and leaves stand out with their soft, powdery-blue colour. A favourite of many pollinating insects, particularly bees and butterflies. Our initial source comes from the beautiful Assiniboine Park of Winnipeg, MB. Thank you toĀ Mrs. Henry of Charleswood for collecting and donating!
