Sow when the weather is still cool in very early spring or late fall for best germination results.

Planting Instructions: Requires mild cold stratification before seeding. (2-3 weeks of refrigeration or direct sowing in late winter or early spring.) Can be started indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date, however, we achieve best success by broadcasting seed on top of soil once snow has melted. Seeds can also be sown outdoors in the late fall to satisfy cold period required for spring germination.
