Sugar Stars Phlox (Phlox drummondii) This annual flower has showy lavender to deep violet blue blooms with white star-like centers. Bushy plants reach 20-24 inches in height and bloom throughout the growing season. We planted our first seeds along a rock wall near the retired cattle barn and were extremely pleased with the resiliency of the plant as well as the prolific nature of the blooms. This is an incredibly attractive and fragrant landscape plant that hosts a variety of butterfly and pollinator species.
