Swenson Swedish Snow Pea

Swenson Swedish Snow Pea (Pisum sativum) A remarkably sweet and flavourful snow pea with deep roots in family and tradition. This heirloom was shared with Seed Savers Exchange by Charles Swenson, whose grandfather carried the seed from Sweden to Minnesota in 1876, keeping its lineage alive for nearly 150 years. Exceptionally vigorous vines climb skyward, producing an abundance of tender, crisp pods best enjoyed while still flat, just as a true snow pea should be. A wonderful example of resilience, flavour, and heritage preserved through generations.
