Vintage Mix Stock (Matthiola incana) - An heirloom bedding plant formerly known as 'Gilliflower', classified and named after the 16th century botanist Pierandrea Matthiola. Stocky well-branched plants with grey-green leaves reach 12-20 inches in height. An early bloomer producing a variety of colours ranging from red, lilac, burgundy, peach, rose, white, and yellow. Over half of the plants tend to have fully double blooms, all highly scented. Vintage Mix Stock is an annual that prefers cool growing conditions of spring and fall and will gladly enjoy some partial shade during the heat of summer.
