Planting Instructions: A fast-growing, cool-season crop that is easy to grow and ideal for early and late-season planting. Direct sow seeds as soon as the soil can be worked in spring, and again in late summer for fall harvests. Sow seeds 1 cm (½ in) deep. Thin seedlings to 2–5 cm (1–2 in) apart, with rows spaced 20–30 cm (8–12 in). Radishes prefer full sun and loose, well-drained soil. Keep soil consistently moist for best flavour and to prevent bitterness. Harvest promptly once roots reach usable size, as radishes become woody if left too long.
