Wisconsin Lakes Sweet Pepper (Capsicum annuum) - Developed by Dr. O.B. Combs at the University of Wisconsin in the early 1950s. This is a relatively early maturing and prolific yielding bell pepper. Thick-walled fruits that ripen to red, born on sturdy plants. A great choice for shorter season regions and open field planting.

Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before your last frost date. Sow ¼″ deep in a warm seed-starting mix and keep soil consistently moist and warm for best germination. Transplant seedlings into cell packs or small pots at the 1–2 leaf stage. Harden off plants for 4–5 days once frost risk has passed. Transplant outdoors in full sun when day and night temperatures remain consistently above 10 °C, spacing plants 18–24″ apart in well-drained soil.
