Yellow Foxglove (Digitalis grandiflora or D. amigua) Native to Asian woodlands, this species is also known as the Great-flowered Foxglove and was cultivated in English gardens as early as the 1600. Beautiful Victorian-yellow flower spikes of open bell-shaped blooms reach up to three feet in height and will tolerate partial shade. The most reliable perennial foxglove for northern latitudes.

Planting Instructions: Starting indoors is most reliable method - Sow 10-12 weeks before planting out. Light is required for germination, therefore, do not cover seeds or only cover lightly with fine vermiculite. Mist soil/seeds to avoid covering accidentally. Transplant seedlings after the first true leaves appear. Harden-off transplants outside only after the last frost has past.
